Changes Afoot At The Journal Of Adult Theaters

Doc here with an announcement of changes here at The Journal of Adult Theaters.  Not bad changes, not good changes.  Just changes.  And no, I'm neither a Federal Agent, not do I play one on TV.

Eagle-eyed readers of The Journal probably have noticed that postings have slowed down in the past month or so.  The reasons are two-fold:
  • Readers submission have slowed down to a trickle of what they have been.  Not real sure why, but they have.  This means less content, and thus less to chew on.  Thankfully, submissions from senior reporters like Gloryhole Nancy and her guy T, Brent from Portland, Bob in Biloxi, new reporter Edward Nygma, and others have kept new reports and pics coming in on a weekly basis.
  • The Good Doctor is in the process of relocating his practice from The Valley (near the small women's liberal arts college) to The Park (near the giant interstate highway). This takes time and all the energy I can muster from my 70's-era mustache.
Change can be good, and I think it will be good for The Journal and The Good Doctor.

Now, the aforementioned changes:
  • New reports will be going up without an announcement on the Yahoo Groups dedicated to this thing of ours. So if you subscribe to Brent's Theater Tails, Arizona Adult Theaters, Gloryhole Nancy, Stick It Through II, or Uncensored Adult Postings Yahoo Groups and wait to see my announcement of a new report, well I won't be posting those any longer.  Why? All new reports will be scheduled in advance, and will go up automatically. I ask that you check back on a regular basis and check out The Journal for new reports.
  • I will continue to Tweet links to the new reports when I can.  Subscribe to my Twitter here and take it for a test drive.
  • Reports may not go up every day (as was the case up through November of 2011), but may go up every other day or two. That depends on the contributing reporters (and how heavily I'm drinking). The Good Doctor must stay hydrated.
Now before you go and throw yourself into oncoming traffic or kick your dog as a result of these changes, I want to add in some perspective.

According to Adult Blog Hub, in my opinion one of the top hubs covering adult oriented blogs, The Journal is the 3rd most active blog in this universe in the last 18 months (measured by total # of posts). Many blogs have come and gone in this space during that time, but The Journal has stayed and thrived.  As a matter of fact, The Journal will get it's one millionth pageview next week sometime. This has been a goal of mine since the get-go, and we will achieve it thanks to you, the good readers of The Journal!

OK, it looks like you might have some spare time on your hands as a result of these changes. What do you do?

How about checking out my good friend and colleague Major Voyeur's outstanding adult theater/celebrity nudes/sex news blog, The World of Major Voyeur. He's young, he's personable, and he's an excellent driver. And he has a kick-ass blog for your adult theater appetite.  The Good Major is based out of St. Louis (just in case you mistakenly judged from his logo he was based out of a McDonalds), and covers that scene like a blanket. His blog has been around a long time (in internet terms), and it's a wealth of good entertainment, first person adult theater and ABS reports, a dynamite Twitter feed, and some very solid smut.  So look no further than his terrific blog to itch that scratch.

Ok, maybe you want a female perspective on the dark underbelly of society.  Maybe you want dirty pics. Maybe you want both.  If so, I have an excellent suggestion... My good friend (as well as contributing Journal reporter) Emme has an excellent Tumblr page titled Privately Me. Emme NEVER disappoints, so check out her page stat.  Emme is such a bad girl.

In closing, I'd like again to point out that I'm just pulling back the reigns a bit. This is not an Old Yeller moment where we have to put our lovable but now rabid dog down.  This is just a changing of the sheets.

Your thoughts?  Feel free to e-mail me at emiliolizardo1@gmail.com.  I will publish the best responses of the week next weekend.  Be honest, as those make the best comments. Also, please keep reports coming in, and I will get them set up to publish during the week. You know where to send them.

So from the sparkling new office in The Park near the giant interstate highway, carry on and keep calm.

Thanks,
Doc
