New Feature! The UK Report from Windsorperv: Trouble in London Town

Hi Doc,It looks like those of us this side of the Pond are going to have to read with envy the exploits of our Stateside cousins, as there will be nothing similar happening here, at least in London.

In the last month Court action linked to local council licensing enforcement, has closed to my knowledge, three out of the four sex cinemas in London area. There I think is one remaining in the Walkers Court street district of Soho, but it is heavily "sanitized" and IMHO a ripoff. 

However, the owner of the last "real" cinema in London, Fantasy Video/Mr Bs, has said he will be looking for another location after being shut down by a High Court Injunction yesterday, and there are 31 other London Boroughs to choose from, all with different ideas about how acceptable a club should be, how it should be licensed, enforced, etc. etc.

Yes there are still others elsewhere...several in Birmingham (West Midlands, not Alabama!) and one in Huddersfield, (West Yorkshire), but these need to be travelled to, and at $8 per US gallon equivalent price, not many are going to be bothered to make the effort. Yes you read that right, that's what we pay for "gas" here. If you need to you can update the database, and I would be happy to feed back any further detail you may still need.

It's a shame about Fantasy Video, as that was the home location for the very popular Katie X. I am sure new locations will pop up, and I will post those new locales as soon as I get the info.
