Dr. Lizardo's Journal of Cool Media: "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood" Trailer & The Pussycat Theatre!

Doc here, a man who some say hosted a teen-oriented dance program back in upstate NY in the early 70's called "Cut a Rug", a fast-paced, energy-dripping, dance-xtravaganza. Teen-angst meets the coolest cats. 

Today, Sony Pictures released the first trailer for Quentin Tarantino's 9th film, "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood". It's all kinds of fantastic, from the look to the music. However, there is once scene in this trailer that caught The Good Doctor's eye...

There you have the iconic Pussycat Theatre on Hollywood Boulevard in LA. Next to it is Larry Edmund's Cinema and Theater Bookshop.

Here is a pic from 1986 of the real Pussycat Theatre and Larry Edmund's Bookshop. 

The production did an amazing redressing of the original theater and block (now called the Hologram USA Live Theater, 6656 Hollywood Blvd, Los Angeles), taking us back to the early 70's.

• Extra security scheduled for tonight's event.

Couple's Flash Report! The Legendary C&R Return with a Tour Through Florida in Late 2018 (with PICS!)

Doc here, a man who some say competed regionally in the AATL (American Axe Throwing League) in the late 2000's. He was removed from competition in 2009, when during a competition in Youngstown, Ohio, he was distracted by a gorgeous, tall brunette. This resulted in a errant axe throw, narrowly missing Sister Agnes from nearby Walsh University. After a brief investigation, his AATL license was revoked. 

However, he did get the brunette's phone number.

There are many legendary ladies in this thing of ours, many of whom I am proud to call my friend (along with their SOs). And among these ladies, a select few belong on the Mount Rushmore of these special girls. 

One of these ladies is "R" from (frequent contributors) C&R!

I have known these crazy kids for a very long time, and aside from being awesome people, they know the adult theater scene backwards, forwards, and doggie style. It's one of the reasons "R" is the cover girl for my regular series "Smut for a Sunday Evening".

Long time listener, first time contributor – NOT! Well, it’s been awhile since we have contributed to the blog and we will do some catching up with you and the readers. While we have not contributed in awhile, we have not lost our zeal to find new haunts to explore. Our adventurous side has led us to some great and not so great play venues. We will give a rundown of some of our adventures and a story of our most recent trip to 15th Ave. We consider the 15th to be one of the most fun, frolicking places for “this thing of ours”.

Last year, 2018, found us in Florida a few times. We went to both Fantasylands and to some spots in the Miami area. Both Fantasylands were fun. Hi Doc,

That Quirky Girl here again with a brand new report from Annabelle's in Winston Salem, NC. For those of you who follow me on Twitter, you may recall that I went there a few months back. I was not allowed in due to the rule that women are not permitted without an escort. I'm not exactly happy with this rule, but what are you going to do?? The one real reason that I wanted to visit (other than sheer curiosity) was that I heard they have glory holes!! Now, this is exciting to me. I digress.. Let me proceed.
