LAST UPDATE! 3PM SATURDAY /17 - The Art Cinema's 2nd Annual Mardi Gras Party This Saturday May 17th @ 7PM in Hartford

Doc here with the last update prior to tonight's big Mardi Gras Event at the mighty Art Cinema in Hartford, CT, starting at 7pm.

I have been contacted by at least 2 dozen couples saying that they would be at the event tonight...Oh, and 90% of them will be first-time guests!  I also received word that some legendary visitors will be on hand tonight... My good friends The Sexual Athletes, the incredible Bella, T&A, M&S, S and Dee, and the list goes on and on.

Let's make this a legendary night at The Art Cinema. Last night they had 23 couples through their doors.  What will tonight bring?

Look for the improved balcony lighting (it's very cool), the lighting effects on the main floor, and several storage lockers (bring you own lock). Lockers are on a first come, first serve basis.

Lastly, as with all Art Cinema events, I will be giving mustache rides early in the evening.

See you tonight!

Last year's Mardi Gras event at The Art Cinema was really a coming out party for this classic movie theater, and it's new and regular patrons. This was the first event where during the meet & greet in the lobby of the theater, that at least 1/3 of the couples attending were first-timers. The event also drew 40 couples, which was a new high at that time.

The patrons that evening were prepared for the event; many had their own beads, Mardi Gras masks, and party outfits. It was a magic night, and the precursor of how big the events at The Art Cinema have become.

Our last Art Cinema event, the Valentines Party on 2/8, was completely off the chain. 78 Couples, scores of singles, and a vibe that I have not seen before or since at an adult theater. The entire couple's VIP balcony was opened fully (for the first time in many, may years), and it was jammed with happy customers, many making new, sexy friends during the course of the night. A night for the ages.

And now we are less than two weeks away from the next night for the ages: Mardi Gras at The Art - Part Deux.  And there are new and exciting things at The Art that you will see for the first time that evening.

Let The Good Doctor take a feather and tickle your ass on a few of these things:
  • New Lighting: The owner of The Art Cinema have new lighting for the balcony and special lighting downstairs to make your experience even more memorable (and visible for that matter). Just wait until you see what is in store for you.
  • Lockers: One of the most requested items from The Art Cinema's patrons was "where can I lock up my things?"  Well fret no more my friends... Several lockers will be installed in the Couples VIP Balcony for the event, with more to come in the near future.
  • Gift Bags: The Good Doctor will be putting together 40 gift bags for this event, more than any other event at The Art. The gift bags have a value of around $40, so don't miss out on this chance to grab one on your way in. Remember, the first 40 male/female couples receive the exclusive Art Cinema Swag Bags, starting at 7pm.
Also, please note the special event pricing for this party on the flier above.

As with all Art Cinema events, the Good Doctor will be on hand to co-host, hand out swag bags, meet and greet you in the lobby, and dispense questionable advice. Just scope out the lobby for a Sicilian with the slight scent of meatballs about him, and chances are you have found your favorite internet Dr. (unlicensed in 45 states, pending in 5). Introduce yourselves, as I love meeting readers of The Journal new and experienced alike.

Also, rumors of The Good Doctor attending with 1 or 2 of my "physician's assistants" are true. Paging Natasha and Sophie to the Dr.'s office...

Couples, if you plan on attending, do me a favor... Drop me an e-mail at emiliolizardo1@gmail.com , with the word "Couple for Mardi Gras" in the subject line. I would like to make sure we have a chance to say hello at the event.

The countdown is on... Make sure we see you THIS Saturday May 17th for the 2nd Annual Mardi Gras @ The Art Cinema.

Thanks,
Doc
