Field Report! FunCouple Reports on Airport Video in Beaver (Beckley), WV!

Doc here, a man who some say the late John Denver once referred to as "that douchebag in the white coat", with a first time couples reporting team, FunCouple!

This terrific couple knows the lifestyle landscape in the Southeast very well, and we will be seeing more of their reports soon here at The Journal!

In their first report, FunCouple gives us an overview of one of their favorite stops, Airport Video in Beaver, WV (near Beckley).  

Yeah, I know....Beaver.  But, this place sound intriguing!

Hello Doc, 

We have been reading this site for years and totally have enjoyed the hot stories of everyone's experiences!  We have  been going to Adult Theaters for years mostly in the southeast.  We will start reviewing them here, but first want to share what we have found is the best kept secret in the southeast.......  Airport Video in Beckley, West Virginia!

We have been going to Airport Video for several years, so to start off, we will just give a general review of this hidden little gem.  First off, it's very conveniently located right off of I-64 in Beaver (appropriate huh?), WV near Beckley.  It's about 5 miles from the I-77 and I-64 interchange.  For reference, it's about 30 miles south of Charleston, WV.

From the outside, it does not look like much.  It's a small building with 2 detached trailers and a gravel parking  lot.  This may scare some people from going in.  Don't be detracted, it's nicer inside.  You enter into a typical adult bookstore/video store with a nice selection of the essentials.  Through the doorway on the right is a booth are that has been recently remodeled with 7 booths all with gloryholes, as well a small "lounge area" with a TV.  Through the doorway to the left of the store leads to a large expanded party deck with picnic tables and chairs.  On the weekends this is where the parties are hosted (more on that later).  


Here you see the two detached trailers I mentioned earlier.  These trailers serve as the theaters.  They have open rooms, private rooms, restrooms and even stripper poles!  One is generally gay-oriented and the other trailer is straight.  Let me add that the staff is super nice, very helpful and non-intrusive if you know what I mean.  It is a very couple-friendly environment.  I've seen the staff give couples who come in to shop encouragement to check out the theaters and give them a personal tour.

Twice a month they host themed swinger parties.  From our experience, you'll see as many as 20 couples show up as well as many single guys looking to get in on the fun.  For one price, you gain access to the booth side, both theaters and they provide food and drink (even beer!).  They have a DJ and the party deck turns into a dance floor.  Let me say, you never know what you will see.  Party goers definitely take advantage of the space available in the theaters.   :)

Like I said, we have been to most of the ABS's and theaters in Virginia, West Virginia, North Carolina, Tennessee, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Kentucky and Georgia.  As far as we are concerned, it's the best we've ever been to.  Definitely the most couple-friendly.  Even on non-party nights, we usually see at least a couple or two wonder in.  I'm surprised more people don't know about it.  I guess because it's tucked away in the hills of West Virginia.
