News to Me: The Paris Theater in Memphis, TN Now Closed

Doc here, a man who some say once applied to become a member of Elvis' Memphis Mafia. His application was denied due to his NY accent and his short inseam. 

Well kids, there was a disturbance in the force surrounding this thing of ours in late 2017, as if millions of voices in this thing of ours suddenly cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced. I felt something terrible had happened.

In this case, the terrible thing that happened was the closing of one of the last of the old school movie houses turned adult theaters left in the USA, The Paris in Memphis, TN (originally the Luciann Theater).

FYI, The Paris was part of the Romantix chain of adult boutiques before it closed in October 2017. The cause of death was the cost of upkeep and renovations needed to keep the business in line with other Romantix locations.
