Flash Report! PT Mania on 5 Different Adult Theaters

Doc here with a terrific first time report from PT Mania.

PT has visited five different adult theaters, and is here to give us the quick review of each theater.

Take it away, sir!

Greetings Doc, from a devotee of your magnificent homage to "this thing of ours". My work affords me the opportunity to travel about this great land of ours and in recent years, I've begun consulting your database of adult theaters when planning my next business excursion. Also, through years of toil, sacrifice, and dumb luck, I'm blessed with twice the annual vacation of my lovely wife, the Marchesa. I've begun ever-so-wisely utilizing this un chaperoned time to launch my own independent study of the subtleties of adult theater establishments and patrons, especially the couples that make it all worthwhile.

I'm based in Dallas - Ft. Worth and am quite knowledgeable of the two local establishments, and more on them in a bit. I'd like to deviate a bit from the usual format and quickly summarize my observations to date, at least those I can remember.

Tampa, FL : Fantasy Land 1&2. Twice in the past year, I've spent 2-3 days in Tampa and must say I'm very impressed with the number of couples in attendance even on weeknights. The single men are also well behaved. Clean establishments and friendly staff at both.

Austin, TX: Austin Six Adult Theater. Located about 10 minutes from the airport and open 24x7. Friendly staff and decent selection of merchandise, but alas, in my several stops in the last few years, not a couple was seen. The theater itself is down a long hall and contains maybe 15 seats. I've never seen more than two guys there watching  poorly presented fare on a small screen in ULD (ultra low def). There's also an arcade area in the front, but once again, no couples or females in attendance.

Wichita, KS.: Circle Cinema. The building is circular, hence the name. It's not in the greatest state of repair, uncomfortable seating, never a couple spotted. There do seem to be random males standing about in darkened corners and alcoves. I've always found this curious as there's plenty of uncomfortable seating available. Open 24x7.

Dallas, TX.: Lido Theater.   Always the more popular of the two in Dallas, for reasons not quite apparent. There are two theaters, upstairs predominately straight, downstairs gay although movement is permitted between the two. Couples get in for half price on Thurs, Fri, and Sat nights. The uninitiated or perhaps truly adventurous couples can be found on Thursdays, along with 30-50 single males, many of whom seemingly never saw the virtues of patience or manners. There always seem to be another ever-present group of males standing along the back wall. Friday and Saturday nights are reserved for couples in the upstairs theater. VIP tickets are sometimes available for single males after 11:00 or 12:00 pm for around 175.00 ea. The staff is not the most pleasant and the guy that cleans up seems to take great enjoyment in turning on the theater lights unannounced to commence mopping activities.

Dallas, TX.: Xposed Adult Megastore.
Very clean, sofa style seating. Open 24x7. Free snacks on Thurs-Sat evenings for couples and VIP males. I've seen 6-8 couples at one time but sometimes there are none. Couples also tend to show up on weeknights occasionally, but very unpredictable. The single males are generally well-behaved and gay activity in the theater is virtually non-existent, perhaps because of an arcade on premises. (Ladies not allowed in arcade). If the management can get their act together on things like making sure the air conditioning is functioning and the movie has audio, Xposed beats the Lido, hands down.. in this humble reporter's opinion.

I'm "vacationing" in Portland May 6-9 to sample the wares of the two fine establishments in that great city. More ramblings next week on how my trip went and I'll review the Houston, TX. cinema scene at a time in the near future.

Stay firm, Dr. E !!
