Renovations at The Paris Theater in Portland to the front section of the auditorium were made public yesterday via Brent at Brent's Theater Tails. 2. The Paris has a published set of rules for behavior inside the theater.  No standing on the stairs and no cell phones are the two big ones.  The issue is enforcement by the staff @ The Paris.  If the rules are enforced, everyone wins.  Offenders can be escorted out of the theater.  The Paris does a very good job in most areas, but rule enforcement needs to be stepped up.
3. A dedicated "Couples Only" entrance to the theater which is enforced.

Renovations at The Paris should be completed in the next month, and The Journal will keep an eye on developments in Portland.

Public Service Announcement: Exciting Changes @ The Paris Theater and Area

Voodoo Doughnuts, located next door to The Paris Theater, 6 SW 3d Ave. Portland OR, will be closed for remodeling for 5 weeks. Being as nervous as I was it didn't take long for me to unload and I saw her swallow and smile up at me as she grabbed the next cock over. I didn't realize I had probably experienced a theater veteran that afternoon.

I stayed for about 15 more minutes before I was freezing cold from the A/C blasting, having worn shorts, a t-shirt and sandals. I left wanting to tell someone, anyone about what I did that afternoon - On my way out the blonde at the counter smiled and waved me over. It was then I noticed she was reading a
swingers magazine (remember those printed blind mailbox ads before the internet???) - She told me there was another theater in-town (The Monroe) and I should try to go there on a Saturday night because couples came there and were looking to meet single guys. I said "wow thanks!" with my eyes popping out of my head with surprise and headed back to my townhouse on campus not able to tell a soul about what I did that afternoon.

Doc here again... The Captain is spot on in his description of The Lyell.  Cold in the winter, colder in the summer.  The area in back he described was a focal point of much of the action at The Lyell.  It was a mezzanine area behind a half wall that was well lit with a blue-ish meon light under the railing.  More than one time I saw a lovely lady on her knees working a semi-circle of guys.  It was also my impression that some of the women who frequented The Lyell were dancers from the strip club that used to be at the far end of the same plaza (according to a regular I talked with one night).

A Few Minutes With Dr. Emilio: Summer Movie Preview Edition

When we last left The Good Doctor, he was posing poolside at a photo shoot when he was accosted by a accordion player and his tiny monkey...

Doc here with this week's edition of AFMWDE... The format remains the same: The Lead Story, a few nuggets from this thing of ours', an opinion or two in the Op-Ed section, and a photo of The Good Doctor in a public place. Plus a special announcement is located at the end of the report.

The Lead Story

Laney from Texas hit the Chicagoland area by storm on Friday, and her long hard weekend is hitting the home stretch.  By all accounts, her visits to CTs Adult Theater in Gary, IN have been a great success.  And judging from the incredible # of hits I am getting on her HOT photos from Friday night, you are enjoying them too!

I will do my best to see if Laney will share any more photos from Saturday, Sunday, or Monday's visit to CTs

The Nuggets

• The past week has been very busy at undisputed #1 adult theater in the country, The Paris Theater in Portland.  Weeknight fun, coupled with the usual weekend craziness, makes The Paris a must visit to anyone finding themselves in the pacific northwest.  The staff here at the Journal (OK, me) will keep our eyes peeled for new reports from Brent or floyd on this weekend's activity.
• The Summit Adult Theater in Warren, OH also is picking up some serious steam as far as couples visits to their facility.  I will do my best to secure some reports from northeastern Ohio's premier adult theater.
• Last weekend, there was an appearance by the Fort Wayne Girls at CTs in Gary.  To the uninitiated, the FWGs are a tandem of a short sexy blonde with an athletic build (almost like a gymnast), and her friend, a tall attractive brunette. The Ying and Yang of this thing of ours'. Yesterday, the blonde posted this nice message to the CTs Yahoo Group:  "HEY guys Just wanted to say thanks to all who came out on the 12th to fuck me, I loved it and look forward to my return , you guys were great and best fucking crowd (literally) I have had since I have been cumming there....WOW. Hope to do it again soon. Sorry it took so long to say thankz!!

• With the NCAA tournament in Chicago this weekend, I thought that there might be extra couples action at 15th Avenue Adult Books and Theater in Melrose Park. However, looking at the numbers (posts in their Yahoo Group), it was business as usual.  Busy, but not crazy.

And Finally...

The Good Doctor can now reveal that back in February, during a two week period where there were few if any updates to The Journal, I was filming a movie.  I was under a non-disclosure agreement, and could not say anything until now.

Well, I can now officially announce that coming this summer...

The film will feature some of the major players on The Journal of Adult Theaters... It's the story of a boy from a small Sicilian fishing village, who immigrated to the USA with the hopes and dreams to strike it big in Hollywood. And Hollywood ate him out and spit him out.

Instead, he started a blog about adult theaters...And his dreams finally came true.
