Well COVID has certainly impacted this thing of ours with the closure of the adult theaters all over the country. Starting to see some of them in various states open back up although seems like folks are still being quite wary - and justifiably so.
I had to make a business trip up to Charlotte by car so I had a chance to stop by 74 Video in Gastonia, NC to see if it had reopened and what changes had been made to COVID restrictions.
Arrived mid-week about 1 pm to a couple of cars in the fenced parking lot. Went inside wearing my mask (clerk was not) and paid my $10 admission. Went through the door off the lobby and immediately realized a major remodeling/reconfiguration had taken place during their closure.
Just to the left is the door to the outside smoking area. You walk a couple of feet forward and there is a drapery curtain. Pass through that and you are standing in the theater which is very, very dark as the only illumination comes from the screen showing the porn. The room configuration has been shifted and is like an upside down "L". The screen is now on the wall to your right. On the left side of the room there are 4 rows of auditorium type chairs with a two-person couch on the back wall. On the shorter right side, there is one row of chairs and another 2-person couch.

After my eyes adjusted, there were 2 guys in the theater - one was wearing a mask and one was not. Both occupied each of the couches. After about 45 minutes a couple that I guess were in their mid-40s came in. They sat in the row of chairs behind me after realizing both couches were occupied. I had high hopes for some playful action as she was wearing a strapless sundress.
Long story short, as soon as the guy on the couch on the right side got up they moved to the couch and are right across from my row. She sits back on the couch on the far side of her guy and pulls up her dress and hikes her left leg over his right leg. My line of sight was partially blocked, but it was obvious that he was fingering her pussy and she was stroking his cock. This went on for about 10 minutes and then they got up and moved to the back of the theater where they stood for a couple of minutes and then left. That was the extent of any play other than the usual m2m action from time to time.
The chairs get quite uncomfortable after about an hour so sure do miss the all-couch seating there before.
So life is returning slowly to this thing of ours.
