It is always a treat to welcome in a new voice here to The Journal of Adult Theaters, to add a fresh perspective to this thing of ours. A voice whose relatives hail from the same island as The Good Doctor's.
Ladies & gentlemen of The Journal, I present to you The Other Sicilian.
The Other Sicilian (also known to a select few as TOS), hit one of my favorite venues in this thing of ours, the legendary Berlin News Agency (Hi Brenda, Bill, & Paul!) in Berlin, NJ in late April & early May, 2022.

I recently made two trips to the Berlin News Agency on back-to-back Saturdays, April 30th and May 7th, 2022. What follows is my field report.
For anyone who's never been to the Berlin News Agency in Berlin New Jersey, this is a must visit if you are in the area. I personally travel 2 hours to get there and stay overnight in a hotel. It's worth it.

The Venue: The front of the store has an extensive selection of adult toys, magazines and videos. To access the back area, insert $10 into the electronic Bill taker by the door towards the back, listen for the buzz and enter.
In this first section you will find 7 theaters. The main theater has five rows of seats, 5 seats across. In the back of this theater there are padded vinyl benches and a large play table. The other six theaters are somewhat smaller, and only have benches and padded play tables. Quality porn is playing on a screen in each theater.

Connected to this area through a hallway you will find at least 30 video booths that accept paper currency. Both areas are included in the $10 price. If you need to step out of the store to make a phone call or catch a smoke or whatever, they will allow you reentry at no additional cost as long as you don't leave the parking lot.
Cleanliness: The floors are mopped and all benches and play tables are sanitized twice daily. Not typical in my experience for such a venue.
The Staff: Friendly, attentive and accommodating. A member of the staff patrols the back area most of the evening, and, in my opinion, it's a good thing.
The Clientele: The men behave like gentleman and are respectful of the ladies and the couples. Not once did I see any behavior that was uncalled for. The ladies, very sexy, most always completely naked and downright accommodating. Five or so couples were there throughout the first evening and a good time was had by all. The second evening was somewhat of a washout due to heavy rains in the area. Still saw some action, just not as much as the week before.
Hours of Operation: 9:00 a.m. to midnight Monday through Saturday, noon to midnight on Sunday. I believe they were 24/7 before covid-19, but no longer.

BNA is a must-see if you are anywhere near Philly, and missing it would be a crime in my estimation. Great managers and staff make a HUGE difference, and BNA is the gold standard!
