House Call! Recap! Secret Room 2125: Grand Re-Opening Party at 15th Ave. Adult Theater Party Room in Chicago on 6/5/21

Thank you to everyone that made our first party in 15 months such a rousing success!

As you may have read or heard, we were limited to 100 guests at a time inside The Party Room at 15th Ave for our Grand Re-Opening event. We asked that you arrive early, so we could hand out your admission "golden tickets" to both couples and singles. We knew there would be a big crowd, thus this added check-in step was added.

Everyone WITHOUT EXCEPTION was courteous & patient while I took temps in the parking lot prior to coming into The Party Room. Congrats and thank you to everyone who checked in early, and got a jump start on their fun evening with us!

We saw many long-time regulars make their return to The Secret Room, and an incredible amount of first-timers. For example, and very attractive Hispanic Couple got to the facility while I was still setting the room up for the party. I broke away, gave them a tour, and provided some hopefully helpful hints on how one should enjoy their first lifestyle party.

By 8:15pm, we had everyone checked in, and The Party Room was full. As I mentioned to several attendees, it was like a family reunion, minus the potato salad and most of the clothes.

Speaking of clothes, the outfits on the ladies were spectacular! Since the only dress code directive was "your sexiest outfit", it was dealers choice on what to wear. To this seasoned set of peepers, fishnet dresses were super popular. For example, the female half of an incredibly fit couple wore a neon yellow fishnet dress that might as well might have been invisible. A reliable source (OK, me) also saw a large number of sexy black fishnet on some legendary ladies like Ginger Squirts, Lilly, Susan, Linda, K&M, R&L, and in red Mr. and Mrs. Taz, along with too many others to mention.

One couple that arrived early instantly caught The Good Doctor's eye. They had matching accent colors (a light metallic blue), and that same hue was the color of her short, sexy wig to boot. This was topped off by a cute hat, and a blue crop top, black mini shirt, sexy black rimmed glasses, and fishnets. She volunteered her name...Cheryl. And, there will be more of the lovely Cheryl to discuss later.

A tip of the hat goes out to the fantastic team we have put together to make sure the parties run smooth and safe. My partner Bob does a great job as we check in guests, hand out swag bags, and wrist bands situated. Our head security man Stephen did yeoman's work Saturday, and deserves a round of applause.

Behind the BYOB Bar, The Amazing Liz (along with her beau, Tom Terrific) were hopping all night, assisting with all the BYOB needs! Liz is THE BEST!

We teased a new enhancement to The Secret Room, and it was present behind the semi-private screen. This was it's first event, and let's just say it was broken in properly, and multiple times. This enhancement will be a Secret Room 2125 party exclusive.

The Sexy Dance Contest returned, and we had 6 super sexy contestants! They were:

1. Kayta - A sexy first timer wanted to go first, and she set the bar high!
2. Linda - A multiple contest winner, she wasted NO TIME in being the first contestant to get the coveted "BOOBIES" call out from The Good Doctor. She's been working on her dancing during lockdown!
3. Gia - The lovely Gia, also a multi-time winner, with her long blonde hair, incredible body, and stripper pole moves, got the tongues a-waggin'!
4. The aforementioned Cheryl - You could not tell she was a first time entrant, as her incredible long legs and sexy body prowled the stage at The Party Room like a kitten. There were boobs. They were fabulous. Her ass defies a definition.
5. Lilly - No one was craving the re-opening party more than her! We messaged each other several times during the lockdown, checking to see when this night would occur. Well Lily, there is a Santa Claus. And his name rhymes with Proctor Blizardo.
6. Ginger Squirts - The first thing I warned the audience when Ginger stepped up was to fasten their seatbelts, it was going to be a bumpy ride. And as always, Ginger delivered. At past parties, Ginger has been at the epicenter of some incredible scenes, most notably the "Butt Plug Grenade" incident. This evening, I looked upon the front row of guests, only a few feet from Ginger. They had no idea they were potentially in the front row of a Gallagher show, and rain gear would have been in order. Ginger braced herself against the stripper pole, and within only a few seconds (and before I could yell out "INCOMING"), she re-Christened the stage in the unholiest of scenes. There were innocent bystanders that caught some of the incoming, and I'm sorry/not sorry.

Big props go out to my good friend Pete (AKA @BoiledinOil), who rushed to assist with the cleanup of the aftermath of Ginger's dance. You are a good man, sir!

The Top 3 Winners (based on the Lizardo 8000 Applause Meter) were:

1. Cheryl
2. Linda
3. Gia
   Each lady above won a $30 vibrator, and went home with their new best friend. Cheryl picked one out that matched her electric blue outfit!

Regular attendees know that right after the dance competition/wet t-shirt contest, things get real interesting. Friendships intensify. Groups get entertained. Pairings occur. And this evening was no different.  If you were not there Saturday night, you have my permission to start kicking yourself in the ass right about now.

Secret Room 2125: Grand Re-Opening Party 6/5/21 at 8pm

We are super excited to welcome everyone back to The Secret Room 2125 and the Saturday June 5^th Grand Re-Opening Party at the 15^th Ave. Adult Emporium Party Room!

Due to the state’s COVID-19 inside seating restrictions still in effect at the time of this event, seating will be limited to a total of 100 guests.

The demand and excitement for this party is off the chart, which after 15 months of being dark, is very understandable. This event is going to sell out, and sell out QUICKLY.

It is important to us to make the check-in procedure fair for all.

When you arrive at the Party Room entrance, you will see a divider splitting the entrance in two. On the left side, it will read “M/F COUPLES ONLY”. On the right side, it will read “SINGLES”.  Please line-up accordingly.  Security will be policing the line, so please act accordingly.

Once in line, you will be given a number by a member of our staff. You will turn this number in at the front desk before your temperature is taken. DON’T MISPLACE THIS NUMBER! Once the numbers have been given out, we will be at the maximum amount of guests.

Alternating between the two lines, one at a time you’ll be admitted. You will get your admission wrist bands at this time. The first 20 M/F Couples will then get their cool swag bags.

When we get to 100 total guests, we will post on the door a red sign stating that we are AT CAPACITY.  

The good news is that since this is a separate event from the theater, guests arriving later have the option to go and enjoy 15^th Ave’s facilities. That is a separate admission from that of The Secret Room 2125 event.

Please note: As guests leave for the evening and turn in their wrist band, we will be able to admit the same number of new guests into the room. Keep your eye on the red sign on the door.

Lastly… We know this seating restriction is unfortunate for this event. We need to abide by the rules set down for us. 

The good news is that there will be no seating restrictions for the next Secret Room 2125 event (CEOs & Office H*es Party) next Saturday, June 12^th.  Then it’s monkey business as usual.

If you don’t want to risk not getting into party, I strongly suggest coming back next Saturday, June 12^th, for The Secret Room 2125: CEOs & Office H*es Party.

The Return of Raygun! Full Tampa Adult Theater Overview & Updated Info!

Doc here, a man who some say once took first place in blueberry pie eating contest. This contest also resulted in The Good Doctor having his nose dyed blue for 2 months in the summer of 1986. 

There was a time in the not-so distant past that Tampa, Florida was the epicenter of the country's adult theater scene. The mid-late 1990s yielded some amazing reports on the nascent internet messaging services like Yahoo Clubs (late Groups). A dedicated Tampa adult theater board brought weekly reports from a user by the of HungGang of that past weekend's activities at the biggest of Tampa's porn houses, The Playhouse (primarily), as well as from Fantasyland. 

Fast forward to 2021, and the scene has changed substantially, and the recovery from COVID has certainly left some scars (and in one case, a corpse). 

Senior Journal scribe Raygun visited Tampa in March 2021, has has provided a wealth of fantastic updated intel from this thing of ours from the Drew Park section of Tampa.

Your long-lost roving reporter has returned with something slightly better than nothing: 

Tampa Spring Break

It wasn't exactly spring break, but I found myself in Florida again, so close enough. It gave me a few days to check out some of the adult theaters in Tampa, returning to a couple more than once to get a better feel for the places and, hopefully, finding a little action.

There are four adult theaters and a bookstore all within a few minutes of each other in the Drew Park neighborhood of Tampa just east of the airport. 

Thee Love Shack is the winner in the budget category. For $7 you can come and go as you please for 12 hours. It's open until midnight during the week and all night Friday and Saturday. The first floor has a bookstore and two video arcades, but the second floor is what it's about. There you'll find a labyrinthine series of rooms, booths, and dark corners with an assortment of well-worn plush sofas and chairs. There's even what looks like a bar. Based on the glass block, I'd say it's from the 1980s, likely the most recent remodeling. 

Thee Love Shack, Tampa

I loved Thee Love Shack for its utter sleeziness, a real throwback to adult theaters of the past. I didn't see any action, but whatever happens there must be nasty. I doubt it ever sees couples, and it may not be for the faint of heart, but it's the kind of old-style sleeze I can't resist. 

Adult World is next in order of bargains. I reported from there once before so I won't go into details again, but it has a good layout with three theaters (straight, gay, trans) and several semi-private rooms. The arcade and theater are only $5 each for a single entry. You can use both the arcade and theater all day for $10 with the purchase of a reusable key fob for $9. 

Adult World, Tampa

The night I was there, there were two CDs and a couple. Unfortunately, the couple were just amateurs not ready to play. This place may be my favorite of the group. I still haven't been in the arcade, but if I go again, I'll probably give in and buy the damn fob. 

Fantasyland I and Fantasyland II are just a couple blocks from each other. Why they have two stores is a mystery to me. These are definitely more expensive than the others with single guys paying $25 Mon-Wed and $35 Thu-Sun. Couples are $19 Mon-Wed and $25 Thu-Sun. Both stores are open 24/7. 

Fantasyland I has a large theater with several rows of sofas and an adjacent "fishbowl" room with glass walls and a bed. There are four fairly large semi-private booths with gloryholes that can be opened or closed from each side, a larger private room with mirrors on the walls, and a little-used arcade with gloryholes. Somewhat out of character with the rest of the place is a big room with four pool tables and a few TVs showing sports and porn. The pool tables were covered and not available to use, but guys stopped in now and then to catch up on the game. 

Fantasyland I, Tampa (2010)

I was there on a Tuesday night and saw two couples who played by themselves in the booths. I'm not sure whether they used the gloryholes, but the guys camped out in the hallway were certainly hoping they would. 

I went back around midnight on Friday and the place was dead. I was sitting in the parking lot when a couple arrived. Reluctant to drop $35 for nothing, I waited until they had been inside for about ten minutes before going in myself. As I stood there money in hand waiting to pay, the couple walked out of the theater and left. I turned and left right behind them. It must have looked funny to the clerk, but at least I hadn't thrown away my money. 

Fantasyland II looks about the same, but there were never enough cars in the paring lot to make it worth checking out. I read some negative comments online complaining about the price increase (apparently, couples used to be free), so that may have hurt attendance at both places, especially on top of the hit everyplace has taken from COVID. 

Fantasyland II, Tampa

The X-Mart Adult Supercenter is located midway between the two Fantasylands. It has a nice (by which I mean dark and sleazy) arcade but no theater. The arcade is free but they expect you to keep money in the booths, or at least that's what the sign says. It was empty when I visited except for a guy who whipped out his dick in the hallway to entice me. Unfortunately, that was not what I was looking for. A local CD told me it has its busy times, but I doubt it's ever a place to find couples. 

X-Mart Supercenter, Tampa (2018)

I had high hopes for the Playhouse Theater in the same area, which looks like a big old barn of an adult theater, another holdover from a different time. Unfortunately, it appears to be permanently closed. Time to strike that one from the list. 

The Playhouse, Tampa (2010)

I also visited one other location about an hour north of Tampa on US-19 called 8th Avenue Exotic Video. As far as I know, there's no 8th Avenue anywhere nearby. The store itself is nondescript and easy to miss, but it's neighbor, Lollipops, a low-key tittie bar, is easy to spot. 

8th Ave. Exotic Video, Hudson FL

8th Ave is a friendly enough place with a bookstore, arcade, and theater. It's bigger than it looks from the outside. The theater is a single good-sized room with two curved rows of sofas focused on a larger than average projection screen. It's open until 10:30 Sun-Thu and 11:30 Fri-Sat. Admission is $8 for a single entry or $10 for an all-day pass. 

There were half a dozen guys spread out among the sofas jerking off when I stopped by on a weekday afternoon. I heard a few guys talking about a couple that had been there recently, but I think that may be a rare event. I got the impression that the women who occasionally visit are there on vacation and not regulars. If any women are thinking of retiring to Pasco or Hernando County, I know a theater that needs you. 

I still can't figure out when any of these places are busy, but Journal readers know you have to play the long game. These quick in-and-out visits of mine are not the best way to find what you're looking for. It's like trying to time the stock market. You're far more likely to miss than to hit it big. Still, I'm always interested in checking out new places even if only for a quick visit. Maybe I'll have better luck next time. 

Meanwhile, I'm still looking for those Florida "Girls Gone Wild" (or maybe their mothers).

The Playhouse Theater mentioned above is a legendary adult theater.  The Drew Park area of Tampa during World War II was known as Drew Field, a US Army Air Force training and replacement center. The Playhouse was actually the base's movie theater during the war, and after the area was turned back over to the city of Tampa, transitioning to a civilian theater and playhouse. 

Fantasyland I and II should be your first stops in hitting the Tampa scene nowadays. While it is a lot pricier than it used to be, it's facility is still excellent and it's arcade/GH rooms hard to beat.

San Diego, you are in for a treat in 6 days (Friday May 21st, 2021 at 9pm PT). My good friend Bad Barbi will be returning to the awesome Barnett Ave. Superstore to take in a couple features in the theater.  She would love to have a bunch of her fans there to soak in the scene with her!  She's looking for a hot, wet start to her American summer!
