Doc here with a huge THANK YOU to you, all the good readers of The Journal of Adult Theaters. June 2012 was the all-time highest reader volume month in the history of The Journal. Over 106,000 pageviews from over 31,000 unique visits! Those are incredible numbers, and they are the result of the dedication of the readership, and the quality of the outstanding Flash, Field, and Blast From The Past reports from our pool of terrific reporters.
The pool of first-time reporters that debuted in June was dynamite. The list is too lengthy to mention, but a special thank you goes to all that put pen to paper for the first time in June.
This summer is off to a great start across this thing of ours. The adult theater scene has been extremely active in Chiacgoland (including Gary, IN), Berlin, NJ, Dallas, Hartford, and of course, Portland, OR. Here is just an example of how busy last night, Saturday 6/30 was in a few adult theaters:
- Portland, OR: 12 Couples @ The Paris Theater
- Melrose Park, IL: 10 Couples @ 15th Avenue Adult Theater
- Berlin, NJ: 8 Couples at the Berlin News Agency
- Gary, IN: 5 CRAZY couples @ CTs Adult Theater
The summer is off to a quick start in this thing of ours, and it's time for you to report on what you are seeing and experiencing in the nation's adult theaters. Here is your handy check list of how to do it:
- Write your report and e-mail it to me at emiliolizardo1@gmail.com
- First time reporters: IMPORTANT - Please include a pen name you wish to use for your reports moving forward.
- Spell check your report if possible. This will help speed up my editing process and the time it hits the front page of The Journal.
- Don't worry about formatting - I will handle this for you.
- If possible, take a quick digital photo (cell phone is ok) of the outside of the theater you are visiting. This will allow me to illustrate your article with an up to date photo. This is voluntary.
As a small token of thanks to you, the good readers of The Journal, I have pushed up the debut of the 2nd Annual 2012 Dr. Emilio Movie Poster, "The Good Doctor Rises". Check out the credits, because the supporting cast may be familiar to you. The graphic is in it's own tab at the top of the home page, and downloadable.
So from the staff here in my office (located in The Park by the giant superhighway), thank you for making The Journal of Adult Theaters your one-stop-shop for this thing of ours.
Thanks,
Doc
