A Quick Note from The Good Doctor on Party Announcements & Integrity

Doc here, a man who some say would give almost anything for a slice of cheese and pepperoni right now...

I absolutely hate that I need to write this, but it is important that I do. 

Part of The Good Doctor's mission on God's green Earth is to provide a reliable source for anything related to this thing of ours (the adult theater scene to you new readers). This information can take the shape of: 

• Field Reports (information about a specific adult theater or ABS). 
• Flash Reports (what happened on a specific day or night at an adult theater/ABS).
• Visit Announcements (an appearance by a specific lady/couple/group) at a specific adult theater or ABS.
• and...Party Announcements (announcements or updates on upcoming special events at the biggest and best adult theaters in the US & Canada, sometimes hosted by your old friend in the white suit and aviators). 

I work very hard to ensure that this information is a) accurate, b) timely, and c) coming from a reliable & vetted source. The last thing I want (or need for that matter) is bad intel driving you, the good readers of The Journal, to an adult theater or ABS under false pretenses or with incorrect information. That's why I vet my sources, and I'm real picky on what gets published on The Journal of Adult Theaters, and by whom. 

It's come to my attention there were several readers out there who thought some recent party information that was sloppily cut and pasted to several Fetlife Groups was from me. Not accurate. Look at who wrote the posts. 

When it comes to Fetlife, 15th Ave. Adult Theater party information will come from only two authorized sources:

Flash Report! The Return of The Cunning Linguist at Video Liquidators in Buffalo, NY in Early December 2018

2018 has been the year featuring the return of many prodigal sons & daughters (of The Journal). Bob in Biloxi, JaxBchBum, G.K. Arby, Tina from CTs, and many more. Another member of this group from my old stomping grounds of upstate NY has re-emerged as well, and that us The Cunning Linguist.

I do not get regular reports from upstate NY with any regularity, so when The Cunning Linguist popped back up, I twirled my thick mustache and polished my aviators.

I had a meeting end far earlier than expected, and took a trip to Video Liquidators (ed. note: address in the adult theater database) in Buffalo, NY. It was my first visit in a long, long time.

I paid my $$ entered the large theatre (ed. note: VL features two good-sized theaters, with one, The Pussycat Theater, being the largest). There was a couple there 2 weeks ago yesterday (early December); she was getting off using a vibrator and dildo, squirting everywhere. Only other guys in the theater were her man and some troll.

Earlier this Christmas Day, The Good Doctor published a first-time report from the terrific @Desire_Couple on their trips to Past Time Video in Steubenville, OH. The first trip in October was a good first time visit there, but attendance was not what was hoped for. 

In late November, with the assistance of senior Journal scribes Anaconda and Dry Clean Only, this was remedied and a great time was had by all, most importantly by the @Desire_Couple !

Since our first theater visit together on October 1st, I have been keeping up with Desire Couple (@Desire_Couple) and collaborating with them on the next step in their adult theater journey. That step occurred almost exactly 2 months later, November 29th at the familiar confines of Pasttimes in Steubenville, OH. We wrangled DCO (@DryCleanOnly99) as well, and the 4 of us began an advertising/recruiting campaign across multiple platforms. We were determined to get a bigger and better crowd than the first time around.

First up is a long overdue publishing of a great report from relative newcomers to this thing of ours, the terrific @Desire_Couple . While they have gotten their feet wet in the scene, this visit was a step up in the degree of difficulty. Will they rise to the challenge? Who will be there to coach them along?

Hi Doc,

While we are still newbies when it comes to visiting and playing in adult theaters, we have even less experience writing a report for the Journal but wanted to take our best shot at sharing the details of our recent visits with readers of the @LizardoJournal blog.

We are Mr. and Mrs. Desire Couple (@Desire_Couple) and our journey into this thing of ours actually started over the summer with a visit to Fantasyland in Tampa. We had never been a bookstore with a theater/gloryholes so this proved to be a great learning experience for us. Although we didn’t end up playing that night, we did get a great feel for the atmosphere on a weekend night. 

As we learned later, it would have also been helpful to go with an experienced guide like Journal writers Anaconda (@MSexualhealer) and DCO (@DryCleanOnly99). This would be our strategy for our next theater visit on October 1st, 2018.

We began talking with Anaconda on Twitter and he recommended checking out Pasttimes in Steubenville, Ohio. After some back and forth conversation we decided to set it up for a Monday afternoon (10/1). Over the weeks leading up to our visit, we joined Anaconda in placing a few ads on various platforms to promote our visit and explain what we would be looking for when we arrived. 

Hanging of the Wreath of Khan - A Journal Night Before Christmas Tradition!

Doc here, a man who some say loves all the grand holiday traditions: decorating the tree, Christmas shopping, and having sexy ladies reach deep into Santa's Secret Sack for a Christmas surprise. 

But two traditions stand tall here at The Journal of Adult Theaters...

The first is the hanging of The Wreath of Khan.  At The Journal's HQ, nestled deep in The Valley near the small women's liberal arts college, all the Lizardo's gather 'round as we hang the Wreath of Khan on The Journal's front door. 

The other grand holiday tradition is the reading of The Night Before Christmas. This version is slightly different as one might suspect (Rated R for harsh language and sexual situations).

As dry leaves that before the wild hurricane fly,

When they meet with an obstacle, mount to the sky,

As I drew in my hand, and was turning around,

He spoke not a word, but went straight to his work,

And filled all the stockings; no time for a jerk,

And laying his finger aside of his nose,

And giving a nod, up the chimney he rose;

He sprang to his SUV, to his vixens gave a whistle,

And away they all flew like the down of a thistle.

But I heard Dr. Lizardo exclaim, as he drove out of sight,

HAPPY CHRISTMAS TO ALL, AND TO ALL A GOOD-NIGHT!

Couple's Flash Report! L&A on the Road in Springfield, IL in October, 2018 (with 4 BRAND NEW PICS!)

Doc here, a man who some say pioneered the sport of male synchronized swimming, with a great Couple's Flash Report from one of 2018's breakout couples from this thing of ours, L&A!

L&A have been spreading their wings (and A's legs, when appropriate) all over the Chicago and Illinois scene in 2018. They have hit 15th Ave. Adult Theater parties (which I host), as well as "regular nights", but the common theme is the hot and insatiable A.  For those of you who have not seen her in public, she is a HOT girl, along with having a body made for pure sin (you'll see in the pics below).

In this report, they visit Deja Vu in Springfield, IL (address in The Journal's Adult Theater Database), in which they ventured into their small mini-theater.

L & A On the Road in Springfield, IL!

Hey Doc, hope the Monster’s Ball at 15th Ave was a hit.  Sorry we couldn’t make it, but we were on the road that weekend in Springfield, IL.  It was my birthday weekend, and the Lovely A wanted to treat me to a surprise vacation.  She got us a room at a quaint little AirBnB, and as luck would have it, we had the beautiful historic home all to ourselves.  I wouldn’t say we “christened” every room, but more than one at least.

On Saturday, we hit a few of the historical spots in the area, then dressed up for a steak dinner in town.  I was in slacks and a nice button up shirt, while A wore her sexy thigh-high boots and a short blue dress.  After dinner we indulged in a trip to Cold Stone, then headed back to the car.  It was still pretty early and the both of us we’re feeling adventurous.  After a quick Google search, we made our way to an adult “toy store” in the area.  It’s always fun for me in places like that, a 50-something year old man walking in with a hot 21-year old vixen.  Oh the looks we get!

We browsed around the store a bit, but nothing really caught our eye.  So we decided to seek out other adventures.  We noticed an adult theater location from your database not too far away called Deja Vu and decided to give it a shot. Deja Vu is a combination adult novelty store/theater/strip club.  When we arrived, we decided pretty quickly to skip the strip club and instead browse around the store.  A immediately started getting looks from the store patrons – mostly men - to include the guy behind the register.  I told her to take off her jacket and scarf so she could give them a better glimpse of her substantial cleavage in that form-fitting dress. She just snickered and did as she was told.  The guys made no effort to hide the stares, and she loved every second of it.

Flash Report! JacBchBum Hits Highway 74 Video & Novelty in Gastonia, NC on a Sunday Afternoon!

My good friend JaxBchBum, a reporter for The Journal since 2009, is en fuego 🔥! Following up his report from Friday morning, he has returned with an outstanding report from Gastonia, NC, and a theater/ABS I was not familiar with: 74 Video & Novelty, which is a sister store to CVE in Gastonia (ed. note: Location now in the Adult Theater Database).

On a recent trip to Charlotte I stopped and checked out 74 Video & Novelty on NC Hwy 74 just inside the Gastonia NC line and think it qualifies to add to your theater database. I had visited the larger CVE before my accident but was put off by the constant traffic between the three theaters that spoiled any couples activity in the regular theaters. I was told that 74 Video is owned by the same folks as CVE, but I don't know that as a fact (ed. note: It is.). Here is the store information: 3510 West Franklin Blvd (Hwy 74), Gastonia NC 28052. Phone number is 704-868-3081 and hours are 10 - midnight M-Thur; 10 - 1 on Friday and Saturday and noon to midnight on Sundays. http://carolinavideoexchange.com/74video.html

On a recent business trip to Charlotte NC I stopped by the Hwy 74 News bookstore/theater to check it out. Only a 5 minute drive off of exit #13 of I-85 in Gastonia NC. Freestanding building with plenty of parking shielded from Hwy 74 by the building and a fenced parking lot.
