Doc here, a man who some say just finished his third hot yoga class of the day, a bit dehydrated and has just now stopped hallucinating. However, seeing lovely ladies stretching out in an unreasonably hot room is my Kryptonite.
Well kids, I have a treat for you! As long-time readers know, The Good Doctor loves one kind of report more than any other. And that type of report is from a first-time couple making a first-time visit to an adult theater or ABS.
Today's report features just such a couple! Please welcome to The Journal of Adult Theaters J&T, otherwise known as @NweSexi on the Twitter machine. T is a sexy & naughty nurse, and J (the hubby) is her partner in crime.
J&T have done a great job networking with other like-minded folks on Twitter, many of which are contributors to The Journal, or are engaged in this thing of ours. Eventually, I was introduced to them via senior Journal scribe DryCleanOnly , and along with several others provided useful information that would assist in this visit to Pasttime Video in Steubenville, OH.

So first off, I want to thank you for reading this, and thank you Doc for allowing us to document our adventure.
J and T here (@NweSexi), with our first time EVER experience at an adult theater. Some back history before we get to the actual visit. We live about 45 minutes away from two theaters, and we choose the one located in Steubenville, Ohio after listening to others who have visited.
On two separate occasions we visited Past Time Video (ed. note: address in the adult theater dB at the top of the page) with only the intent of doing some recognizance before we set a date to visit to play. Our first visit was brief, as we got a tour from the owner, who by the way is very nice, and professional. He led us into the theater and left, and as we stood there it became obvious that all the eyes were on beautiful T. But because this was SO new to us, she felt a little awkward being the center of attention, so we ended up leaving, but with valuable knowledge of how things operated at Pastimes.
The next time we visited, our goal was to visit a booth because, we both thought we weren’t ready for full on play in a theater and the booths would provide just enough privacy with the option to play with others that would suit our needs. After going into a booth, we looked around and took in the scene, we noticed the ventilation holes and the television located inside. We left shortly after.

Now that the recon was done, we decided to set a date, it would have to be on Thursday since that is when couples are allowed in for free, and not being cheapskates, but if the venue wasn’t right for us to play, we wouldn’t be out any money if we left as soon as we went in. (ed. note: Solid plan!)
April 25th, 2019 was the date we picked, and we were to meet up with a friend who has experience on playing which would be a great benefit to us newbies. Unfortunately, things didn’t work out, the “Naughty Nurse” as T is known as, had to work over and we couldn’t meet or attend that night. Once again, it seemed like it may never occur for us, as juggling life is hard sometimes, and with summer vacation coming up, the time would be limited if it didn’t occur soon.
We then set our eyes on May 9th, this time, we would be alone, and go during the day. Talking to numerous people on social media we thought we were prepared. We knew the venue, we knew what were to be expected of patrons, and we communicated with each other to understand how we both felt and what was the limits that we both set.

We woke up that day, feeling extremely nervous. This was going to be something so brand new to us, that the nerves were really hitting us head first. T felt like she needed to throw up, & I felt like I needed to smoke 30 packs of cigarettes, but we both knew that this is something that we wanted to try, for better or for worse. (ed. note: Being very nervous is very normal.)
We hopped into the car and arrived around 11:30 am with little fanfare. There were cars parked out front (but not many), and when we walked in the gentleman at the counter, (who I thought was the owner), looked at me funny when I mentioned our friend (who we were set to go with in April 25th). He then proceeded to tell me that he isn’t the owner. I thought to myself, nice job you just made an awkward, nervous situation even worse, but he was super polite and said couples are free today, so have fun, and help yourself to the back.
There weren’t many people in the hallway, and we made our way down to the last booth on the right (which we talked about ahead of time), since the corner booths only have one ventilation hole, and we thought it would be better for us.
When we got into the booth we noticed the ventilation hole and a chair in front of the television. I inserted the money into the television (still not sure if that was necessary since couples are free), and proceeded to “choose” the channel and adjusted the volume (more on that later). T and I had a good laugh about me choosing the channel, because we both knew NOBODY was going to be watching it!
The time had come, and I proceeded to kiss T and began to finger her, at this point both of us were about as far away from the other side of the wall with the ventilation hole as possible. As things started to heat up, we heard someone go into the booth next to us. When I say the ventilation holes were made for porn stars, they were. T could see completely into the next booth, which made her feel a little uneasy, but she was a champ and continued.

She sat me down in front of the television and began to give me her one-of-a-kind blowjobs. The only issue that was occurring was that the television was so loud it echoed throughout the booth! And yea, T made eye contact with the guy in the next booth, which immediately made her stand me up and she sat down on the chair and continued. I was able to notice how the gentleman in the booth was “enjoying” the show T was putting on, so I stood her up and bent her over facing the hole and began to pound her doggystyle.
This is where a little comedic relief and “what might have happened” comes into play.
As I was going to town, the guy wanted to get in on the action, so he popped himself through the hole. Unfortunately for him, T had her head buried as she took the mantra “head down, ass up” literally in the booth, so she never saw this huge thing protruding through the hole. I didn’t want to point it out, just in case she did notice it and wanted nothing to do with it. It was important to us just let her do what she was comfortable doing.
As we finished up, and put ourselves back together, we opened the door and noticed that a line had formed waiting to get into the booth next to ours (ed. note: A common occurrence in these situations). We casually walked out of the store and we said goodbye to the guy at the counter and wished him a wonderful rest of his day. We got into our car and went home. So that was our experience as a first-time couple playing in an adult theater.

There are somethings that I wanted to mention about our first booth experience that without doing it, we wouldn’t have known about. Here is some advice.
Be aware that there will be a lot of commotion going on, from hearing people shuffling outside the door, to going in and out of booths, and can be a little distracting at times. Hearing that door shut next door to you is REALLY nerve wracking if you have never done this before. I am not downplaying this experience; all I am saying is that neither of us would have expected so much outside noises while we were in the booth.
Next, PLEASE adjust the volume on the television, when you think that it’s loud enough lower it a few more times. The sound really does echo in the booths and along with the booths next to you, the sound overwhelms you and it makes it very hard to communicate with your partner.
Lastly, it gets VERY hot in the booths, so wear something breathable and comfortable as the experience can feel like doing it in a sauna.
I hope this helps whoever may be thinking about going, as first timers. We did not rule out going back and playing since now that we know what to expect exactly in the booths, more fun could be had if we wanted to do it.
As far as the venue, Past Time Video located in Steubenville, Ohio, we have nothing but great things to say about it. Every time we have gone in, the staff has been VERY friendly, the patrons were not pushy, nor did they engage in conversation, or act rude or have bad behavior. The location provides ample parking and the street is well lit. The owners have a very strict policy of making sure couples are taken care of and will not hesitate on banishing those who are acting towards anyone in a way is not wanted.

I appreciate the detail you went into on what it was like for you as a couple, as I am sure there are hundreds and hundreds (if not more) of couples thinking about making their first visit to an ABS/adult theater, but unsure what it may be like. Thank you for everything J&T!
Those of us that have been around a long time in this thing of ours can take things for granted since we have been there and done that on countless occasions. For new people in the scene, please keep in mind that no two visits are ever the same. It's one of things that has kept us coming back, time after time, whether you are a couple or a single.
Our scene is a marathon, not a sprint. The goal of an ideal first "real" visit is to enjoy the trip and not spend a lot of time inside the facility. On your way home, you want to be talking about your next trip there. In other words, leave some meat on the bone.
