Welcome back to "Dispatches from Abroad", a limited series of reports from some of the legendary ladies from this thing of ours. This series has been super popular with you, the good readers of The Journal, so thank you!

In today's dispatch, we hear from one of my personal favorites from the Lizardo events at 15th Ave. Adult Theater in Chicago, the Awesome Linda!  If you have never seen her at one of my events, you have missed out big time.  Her sexy outfits are always amazing (two of my favorites were the sexy nun and the naughty schoolgirl), and her non-stop energy on stage is undeniable! 

Linda has also been known to socialize with a certain T-Rex at some parties, going as far as to don a T-Rex head while working the pole!  This T-Rex never went extinct!

Hi Doc!  

Life at home has been relatively uneventful since the pandemic hit.  Work, on the other hand, is a different story.  I've been busy picking up extra shifts, and though I have been handling an increased number of packages, they don't give me the same "tingling" sensation as the packages I  see at your awesome parties!

Well COVID has certainly impacted this thing of ours with the closure of the adult theaters all over the country. Starting to see some of them in various states open back up although seems like folks are still being quite wary - and justifiably so.

I had to make a business trip up to Charlotte by car so I had a chance to stop by 74 Video in Gastonia, NC to see if it had reopened and what changes had been made to COVID restrictions. 

Arrived mid-week about 1 pm to a couple of cars in the fenced parking lot. Went inside wearing my mask (clerk was not) and paid my $10 admission. Went through the door off the lobby and immediately realized a major remodeling/reconfiguration had taken place during their closure.

Hello Doctor,

There are two adult theaters showing porn, with a varied clientele. Guys will try to find some relief, but no local woman would dare. Both prostitution and gays are legal there.

If we can actually fly overseas, we intend to go over to the Mediterranean coast of south Turkey this coming month of August. Its is a beautiful place, and we will stay on the beach (actually in a penthouse of a high rise), and have a car to drive around while visiting and having a great time.

This is the ancient province of Anatolia, and its ports that connected Rome with that part of the empire. The oldest sign of habitation is over 6,000 yrs ago. Turks are nice, the place is super clean friendly, excellent food, and nice walks on the strand too.

Turkey is secular and Muslim, which means conservative. Nobody is going to blink an eye should I walk in a bikini, as it's a main tourist beach destination. At the other end, the ladies sometimes do wear traditional garb, covering their hair, not their face. But.....I am a foreigner and a tourist.

One, Kent Sinemasi has activity in the end rows. The other, Class Sinemasi also has a dark basement for cruising. Not sure if that one is actually open. Idea is to send hubi in and then go myself, or not depending on what he gathers.

Breaking News! Circus Cinema in Denver Permanently Closed - 6/2020

I received a note this morning from reporter Max Geo that Circus Cinemas in Denver, CO has closed permanently due to COVID-19.

It saddens me to report that COVID has accomplished what Adams County and the City of Denver could not. The Circus Cinema is permanently closed and the building is about to be demolished. I have frequented this place since 1976. 

This is a sad day for this thing of ours in Denver.

Doc here again... Circus Cinemas was part of the first wave of post-classic movie house adult theaters that was smaller in size, that was first seen in the late 1970's across the country.  Now, almost all adult businesses with an adult theater are formatted like the Circus Cinemas layout. 

I have asked Max for a "Memories of..." report about Circus Cinema, and hope he decides to take us down memory lane in the Denver scene.

Dispatches from Abroad: A Bad Barbi Supplement!

Doc here, a man who some say knows six languages, four of which are no longer spoken. 

Everyone loves a bonus.  It's like a present. Makes you feel all warm and fuzzy. Well Lizardos and Lizardettes, I have your bonus right here.

In the first "Dispatches from Abroad" we heard from our good friend Bad Barbi, who has been hanging in Europe for a few weeks now.  It seems like a solid plan on her and her guy's part, and one that I applaud.

Dispatches from Abroad: That Quirky Girl Checks In from the Great White North (with 3 NEW PICS!)

Welcome to #2 in the new series "Dispatches from Abroad". This series will focus on some of the legendary ladies in this thing of ours, where they are at the moment, and their plans for the adult theater scene once it re-opens fully.

Yes, the message was sent from a dog sled training outpost in Beaver Creek, authored by my good friend, the sextastic That Quirky Girl! And along with the dispatch were three brand new images of TQG during her downtime between training sessions with the dog sled team.

Dearest Doc,

Dog sled training wages on, with almost no end in sight. I embarked on 4-day trek to Beaver Creek, deep behind enemy lines, in order to send you the information you seek (what local religious leaders call immoral photographs) and reliable Canadian wi-fi. 

I have made new friends with the local townsfolk. A Frenchman by the name Sebastian St. Ferrier has caught my eye. A generous man who is good with his hands, and handles wood with expertise. This kind man has offered to make me my own gloryhole booth using knotty pine and some large screws. 

The arctic days are long and hard. The intense training has transformed me into a sleak, lithe, sexy riding machine. More flexible & hungry than ever.

While the dog team and the Iditarod are front and center, I long for the days at CVE in Gastonia, addressing the troops, & checking their weapons before firing.  

Before long, I'll be back in the arms of this thing of ours, surrounded by my kinky brothers & sisters. Dogging (a different kind) and adult theaters will once again be a colleague in arms.

Two brief reports for you, sir.

I visited Lexington, KY and its 2004 Theater on a recent Sunday afternoon. Things seem a bit different than the last report you have listed from 2017. This is located right off the circle freeway and pretty much next to a McDonalds in an upscale neighborhood, instead of the usual spots out in the boonies or by an industrial complex, but there is parking in the back.

Just checking in with you from Europe!  We wanted to get away for the summer, and we are enjoying the change of pace here. 

Bad Barbi is planning to return to San Diego in the late summer or early fall, and visits to Barnett Ave. and Jolar are in the cards.  We may also visit a few other cities (maybe Denver or Phoenix), but we'd like to hear other city suggestions from your readers. Couple's Flash Report! A Warning Report from Pennycumslut Regarding Taboo (White Center) in Seattle (with PIC)!

Lizardos & Lizardettes, not every report found on this Journal of Adult Theaters is positive and rosey. While everyone wishes that everything in this thing of ours is humming along smoothly, there are hot spots where this is not the case.

Case in point is this warning report from my good friend, the awesome Pennycumslut. The situation outlined by her took place pre-pandemic, in March of this year.  The location is Taboo (White Center), in Seattle.

Hi Doc,

Taboo in White Center (Seattle) used to be one of my favorite places to visit. I was introduced to it by my original theater guide who lived nearby and it holds memories of very good low key visits that were playful and fun as well as busy on-the-tile-floor dirty visits...I have a lot of good stories I could share, but I thought it was prudent to share this warning first.

Recently, after a visit to Taboo, I was contacted to let me know that law enforcement were on premises immediately following my visit there. Within a few weeks of that, I spoke with two other male-female couples with similar experiences, as well as received messages letting me know that individuals had been there when similar incidents happened on multiple occasions despite there being no women there.
